La Petite Aubaine is located 2 kilometres outside the village of Viersat. It is truly a rural retreat.

If you don't have your own transport then this page is for you. There's lots to do here if you don't have a car (or if you do but want a few days off from behind the wheel).

Use your own bike (or Shank's pony) to enjoy the miles of rural lanes that surround La Petite Aubaine.

Simply relax with a good book and a glass of wine on your private terrace or in the garden.

Study for an exam or prepare for an interview in peace and quiet. An ideal setting for small groups of colleagues wanting a conference venue for strategy meetings etc.

Learn to cook: Traditional French favourites for every palate.

Learn to paint: Watercolours and sketching courses available.

Learn English: Sherry and Russ are trained teachers and will start you off or help you polish your skills.

Everyday French: Lessons for beginners followed up by real practice with real French people!

Start your family tree: Expert help on researching your ancestry.

Trade a skill for a holiday: We are always looking for people with gardening, decorating and DIY skills. If you have them and want to use them in return for reduced costs on holidays, we would love to hear from you.

Lose your kids (just for a few hours): As trained teachers we offer activity sessions for children from 3 to 10 years old which include cooking, gardening, messy play, outdoor fun and movement classes. If your child has a special need or is experiencing a difficulty in school we have lots of fun activities that will help.
