Set in a small hamlet, just outside the village of Viersat, surrounded by fields and unspoilt countryside in the heart of central France.

La Petite Aubaine is 20 minutes from the historic town of Montluçon.

Going north you'll discover the towns of St Amand-Montrond and Bourges and the countryside around with its arable farms.
To the north west lies the George Sand country, around La Châtre, for the romantics amongst you. There is also good wine at Châteaumeillant.
Head west to reach Gueret, one of the prettiest towns in France and La Souterraine full of history.
To the south west lies the larger city of Limoges, famous for its porcelain.
Go south on small country lanes to the beautiful towns of Evaux-les-Bains and Chambon-sur-Voueize.

Heading in a south-easterly direction you'll find the city of Clermont Ferrand.
To the east is Vichy, seat of the French Government during World War Two and famous for its spas and mineral water.
If you go north east you'll find the Bourbon heartland with many attractions for those who love to step back in time. There are castles and pageants galore to enjoy. Also discover Montluçon and the wine producing area around St Pourçain-sur-Sioule.
Whichever direction you choose you will never be disappointed and these places are all within easy reach for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday.

There is a market at Gouzon on Tuesdays. There are extra markets and foires during the summer. Please check before travelling.
